Open Air Summer Party with Live Music and Laser Show in the Quarry
2026
About Leuchtende Steine Dittersdorf
Leuchtende Steine Dittersdorf — edition 2026
The 2026 edition sticks to the proven format: two evenings, each with its own program, both featuring light installations and the unique quarry backdrop. Tickets are available via tickets.steinbruch-dittersdorf.de.
Unlike purely DJ events, 'Leuchtende Steine' combines live bands (Brasstastisch on Friday, Mr. Feelgood on Saturday) with DJ sets — a mix that distinguishes the festival from mainstream open-airs and gives the Ore Mountains audience its own identity.

The Quarry as a Stage
Dittersdorf, a district of the municipality of Amtsberg in the Erzgebirgskreis, is home to an old quarry — an industrial wasteland transformed into an extraordinary event location. The high rock faces, the natural acoustics, and the secluded location away from any residential areas make the quarry the ideal setting for an open-air party. Cultura e.V. organizes the 'Leuchtende Steine' here every year — a two-day summer party that has long since become an insider tip in the Ore Mountains' festival scene.
Friday — Brass meets Beats
The festival opening on Friday evening (doors open 7:30 PM, start 8:00 PM) combines DJ sets with live brass music. DJ Wi Nillz and DeeJay Jukebox will be playing, along with Brasstastisch — a band that combines rock and brass, giving the festival a distinctive sound. The rock faces are bathed in colorful light, and light installations are spread across the grounds.
Saturday — Party and Laser Show
Saturday evening (doors open 7:00 PM, start 7:30 PM) is the festival's highlight. DJ Wi Nillz and the party band Mr. Feelgood will get the crowd going before a multimedia laser show is staged late in the evening as the grand finale. The combination of the rock backdrop, light effects, and music is unique in the Ore Mountains — those who attend once usually come back.
History and Commitment
Cultura e.V. has been operating the Dittersdorf quarry as a cultural venue for years, organizing various open-air formats during the summer months. 'Leuchtende Steine' is the flagship event, alongside classical concerts, smaller DJ events, and cultural performances. The commitment of the association's members has secured the location a firm place in the cultural landscape of the Ore Mountains.
