Cult wine festival returns to Weingut Adam Müller after 6 years
Until 2020, Leimen Rhythm & Wine was one of the most popular wine festivals in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. Then the pandemic forced a halt, and later, logistical challenges and a lack of enthusiasm delayed its revival. In 2026, it's happening: From June 19th to 21st, Weingut Adam Müller in Leimen will once again open its courtyard for the festival, which describes itself as "Food · Drinks · Music." A restart that is eagerly awaited in the town between Heidelberg and Walldorf.
Friday, June 19th, 2026 (5–11 PM), is dedicated to electronic dance music: The duo BANKS & RAWDRIGUEZ delivers sets of current hits, timeless classics, and exclusive remixes — an after-work vibe with wine service instead of melancholy. Saturday, June 20th (4 PM to midnight), begins with the rock-pop cover band FATE and continues at 10 PM with live viewing of the 2026 Football World Cup group stage match between Germany and Ivory Coast. Sunday, June 21st (10 AM–6 PM), is family day with the Radio Regenbogen show stage, children's program, local clubs, a raffle, and a bouncy castle.
Weingut Adam Müller on Leimen's Hauptstraße is one of the oldest wineries in the town and has been family-run for generations. The wine cellar primarily matures Spätburgunder, Riesling, Grauburgunder, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Leimener Herrenberg and Nußlocher Sonnberg vineyards. During the festival, young vintages will be served — alongside cocktails, spritz variations, and draft beer. Local food trucks offer regional bratwurst, burgers, vegetarian bowls, and schnitzel sandwiches.
Weingut Adam Müller calls the return "a kind of restart." After years of absence from the festival calendar, Rhythm & Wine 2026 marks the revival of one of Leimen's most iconic summer events — with the awareness that town festivals are not a given. Admission to all three days is free.
After a six-year break, Leimen Rhythm & Wine opens its gates again. The festival runs from June 19th to 21st, 2026, at Weingut Adam Müller on Leimen's Hauptstraße, following the motto "Food · Drinks · Music.”
