Overview

Leimen Rhythm & Wine did not take place in 2025. The festival had been on a break since 2020 (COVID-19 lockdowns), which was widely regretted in the town between Heidelberg and Walldorf. The comeback was scheduled for June 2026.

Hiatus Year 2025

Leimen Rhythm & Wine did not take place in 2025. The festival had been on hiatus due to the pandemic since 2020; afterward, logistics and the readiness for a revival were delayed for a long time. Weingut Adam Müller, the traditional venue, hosted smaller courtyard festival formats sporadically in 2025, but the major summer festival remained suspended.

2026 now marks the comeback: With BANKS & RAWDRIGUEZ as DJ headliners, FATE as a live band, and a family Sunday, the festival will reopen from June 19th to 21st, 2026. The term "restart" is used by the organizer itself — an indication of how much town festivals need to find new ways to get going again after the pandemic years.
