About Lanz-Bulldog Meeting Brokstedt
Lanz-Bulldog Meeting Brokstedt — edition 2026
50th Anniversary Edition on Ascension Day 2026
With its 50th edition, the Lanz-Bulldog Meeting celebrates half a century of club tradition. As always, the organizer is Lanz-Bulldog-Club Holstein e.V., in cooperation with MSC Brokstedt, whose Holsteinring becomes a showcase for historic agricultural machinery for one day.
The special exhibition in 2026 is dedicated to Deutz — the Cologne tractor brand that, alongside Lanz, has shaped German tractor history. Unusual Deutz models and elaborately restored collector's items from all over Northern Germany are expected, complemented by the regular lineup of Lanz-Bulldogs and vintage tractors from other brands.

50 Years of Lanz-Bulldog Meeting at the Holsteinring
The Lanz-Bulldog Meeting in Brokstedt is one of the most traditional and largest vintage tractor gatherings in Northern Germany. In 2026, the organizing Lanz-Bulldog-Club Holstein e.V. celebrates the 50th anniversary edition — half a century of vintage tractor passion, club life, and Ascension Day tradition at the Holsteinring. The Holsteinring — actually the home of MSC Brokstedt for speedway races — transforms once a year into a showcase for historic agricultural machinery.
Guest Marque 2026: Deutz
Each year, the club highlights a special guest marque in the special exhibition. In 2026, it's Deutz — the traditional Cologne tractor brand, which, alongside Lanz, represents one of the most important chapters in German tractor history. Unusual models and restorations from German collectors are expected, complemented by the regular lineup of Lanz-Bulldogs (half-diesel engines from the 1920s to 1950s) and a wide selection of Northern German vintage tractors of all brands: Hanomag, Eicher, Fendt, Güldner, Porsche, and more.
Festival Atmosphere Around the Holsteinring
On Ascension Day, the Holsteinring fills with hundreds of tractors and their owners — the meeting is as much a family outing as it is an event for enthusiasts. Children climb on historic tractors, collectors trade spare parts, bratwurst stands cater to the crowd, and special models are presented via the loudspeaker system. Show ploughing, demonstrations of historic harvesting equipment, and joint rides are part of the program, as is socializing in the paddock.
Brokstedt in the Steinburg District
Brokstedt is located in the Steinburg district, roughly halfway between Itzehoe and Neumünster in southern Schleswig-Holstein. With just under 1,500 inhabitants, the village is manageable, but thanks to the Holsteinring and MSC Brokstedt, it's a well-known name in Northern German motorsport. The Lanz-Bulldog Meeting is the second-largest event in Brokstedt's annual calendar — after the speedway races — and fills the community with thousands of visitors from all over Northern Germany and the neighboring countries of the Netherlands and Denmark on Ascension Day.
