About Kurpark-Meeting
Kurpark-Meeting — edition 2026
Kurpark-Meeting August 28–Sep 6, 2026
This year's edition continues the tradition: ten days of relaxed open-air festival in the Kurgarten Baden-Baden. The concert pavilion stage will feature bands and DJs daily; the lounge atmosphere and curated gastronomic partners (Schloss Eberstein, Nigrum) set the format apart from a traditional folk festival, creating an urban-elegant summer experience.
The exact daily stage program will be published gradually on badenbadenevents.de. Based on experience, the mix of bands and DJs offers a diverse musical palette.

Kurpark-Meeting — Summer in the Spa Town
In recent years, the Kurpark-Meeting has become a firm highlight of the late Baden-Baden summer. On the Kurgarten in front of the Kurhaus — the central park, shaded by numerous old trees, located directly in the historic center of the spa town — Baden-Baden Events GmbH sets up a ten-day open-air festival architecture: a concert pavilion as the main stage, lounge areas, gastronomic stands of regional partners, and a bar. The format is deliberately relaxed and urban-elegant — not a large mass event, but a cozy after-work and weekend festival.
Program and Atmosphere
The Konzert-Pavillon stage features changing acts every evening — live bands and DJs with a focus on Pop, Soul, Funk. The musical spectrum ranges from acoustic singer-songwriter sets and soul cover bands to lounge and disco DJs. The mood is that of a warm, late summer evening lounge — relaxed, sophisticated, with cocktails rather than beer and currywurst.
Gastronomy: Schloss Eberstein and Nigrum
Unlike traditional folk festivals (Volksfeste), Baden-Baden Events GmbH curates the gastronomic partners. The main partner is Schloss Eberstein (Bauchabach Valley near Gernsbach) with its Michelin-starred cuisine and its Baden-Alsatian specialties; complemented by Nigrum with modern tapas and bar specialties. In addition, other regional providers offer wine, beer, and soft drinks. The opening hours of the gastronomy vary by day of the week:
- Monday–Thursday: from 6 p.m. (after-work atmosphere)
- Friday–Saturday: from 4 p.m. (extended weekend program)
- Sunday: from noon (relaxed Sunday morning/afternoon)
Baden-Baden — The Spa Town
Baden-Baden (approx. 56,000 inhabitants, district code 08211) is Germany's most important spa and health resort town. Since the 19th century, it has been a tourist center with a casino, Festspielhaus (one of Germany's largest opera houses), Friedrichsbad, and Caracalla Therme. The Kurpark is the key tourist axis: a 4 km long park along the Oosbach stream, through which the Kurhaus (1824, neoclassical), the Baden-Baden Theatre, and the Festspielhaus are prominently located. The Kurpark-Meeting utilizes this backdrop for an urban-summer format that complements the classical music and theater events of the summer season.
