Culture in a former monastery

For many years, Kulturkeller Pielenhofen e.V. has been bringing concerts, readings, and small-scale stage formats to the rooms and courtyards of the former Pielenhofen monastery in the Lower Bavarian Naab valley. The series is run by a volunteer cultural association that specifically focuses on rural cultural work and aims to attract an audience from Regensburg, Kallmünz, Beratzhausen, and the entire district of Regensburg.

Concert hall, monastery barn, and monastery courtyard

The program is spread across several spaces: the actual Kulturkeller with its compact concert hall, the adjacent Klosterstadel (monastery barn) as a larger venue for concerts and events, and the monastery courtyard for open-air events during the summer months. The stylistic spectrum ranges from acoustic singer-songwriters to "Kloster meets Beats" parties.

Pielenhofen in the district of Regensburg
