Kirchweih at the Dorn-Bräu Brewery

The Kirchweih Bruckberg takes place around the Dorn-Bräu brewery in Bruckberg, a municipality in the Ansbach district in Central Franconia in southern Bavaria. The brewery, with its attached Franconian inn, forms the center of the festival, which is considered the "highlight of the year" in Bruckberg.

Date and Schedule

It is celebrated over four days on the first weekend of September, from Friday to Monday. The focus is on the freshly tapped beer from the Dorn-Bräu brewery, accompanied by Franconian delicacies, festival activities, and convivial Kirchweih customs.

Nachkirchweih

A special feature is the Nachkirchweih: at the end of October / beginning of November, the festival continues on a smaller scale – a tradition common in Franconia that gives the Kirchweih a second, autumnal chapter.
