Nine days of classical, jazz, and electronic music on the Vierseitenhof in Prignitz
The kultur.farm.festival is perhaps Brandenburg's most unconventional summer festival: a mix of classical concert formats, jazz, electronic music, village disco, brunch culture, and excursion walks — embedded in the agricultural daily life of a historic Vierseitenhof. The venue is the kultur.farm at Steindamm 31 in Groß Pankow (Prignitz) in the far northwest of Brandenburg.
The 2026 festival spans nine days and offers 27 different events. Accommodation is available directly on the farm: guest rooms, annex apartments (2–6 people), and a large campsite for festival visitors.
The artistic core is the treppenhausorchester from Hanover, which performs several "emergency concerts" and also participates in the opening disco. Specifically for young listeners, there are the Kinderphilharmonie programs with workshops and family formats. As a highlight, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under Chief Conductor Kazuki Yamada will perform in the main concert on July 18th, 2026.
The festival is deliberately not designed as a pure concert format. Daily there is a "Brot & Schnack" brunch with the artists. Excursions lead to cultural sites in Prignitz: the Bronze Age Königsgrab Seddin (3000 years old), the alternative Kulturkombinat Perleberg, the Schlossmuseum Wolfshagen, and the harbor town of Wittenberge. Workshops, open formats, and the village disco complement the program. Public Viewing of the World Cup semi-finals and the final brings football to the farm.
The kultur.farm.festival 2026 runs from July 11th to 19th, 2026, over nine days, bringing 27 events to the Vierseitenhof of kultur.farm in Groß Pankow (Prignitz). The festival combines classical, jazz, and electronic music with workshops, excursions, and brunches.
Opening on Saturday, July 11th at 5 PM with the GroßPankChor and the treppenhausorchester as a joint disco performance. Highlight on Saturday, July 18th at 5 PM: the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under Chief Conductor Kazuki Yamada. Pianist Danae Dörken and vibraphonist Pascal Schumacher will perform "GLASS for TOW" on July 16th. Pianist Johanna Summer will perform on July 12th. Saxophonist Asya Fateyeva and the Kinderphilharmonie complete the program.
