The Fährlebühne in the Neckarbogen is an architectural highlight: a floating platform directly on the water, nestled between the modern architecture of the former BUGA grounds (2019) and the Neckar riverbank. On summer evenings, you can sit with a cool drink on benches or loungers, watch the reflections of the lights on the water, and enjoy open-air culture.

Wednesday — Top-Level Comedy

Every Wednesday in August, the stage is dedicated to comedy. Renowned artists from the German stand-up and cabaret scene perform starting at 7 PM. Tickets are required and go on sale in advance starting in June. Experience shows that all four comedy evenings usually sell out quickly. The City of Heilbronn traditionally publishes the lineup in June at heilbronn.de/comedy-am-fluss.

Thursday — Free Music Night on the Neckar

On Thursdays, regional bands from Heilbronn-Franken and the Stuttgart Metropolitan Region perform on the Fährlebühne starting at 6:30 PM. Admission is free, and the musical spectrum ranges from rock and pop to soul, funk, jazz, reggae, and singer-songwriter sets. Arrive early to secure the best seats right by the water. Food trucks offer a variety of culinary options.

In Any Weather

The events take place "in any weather" — the Fährlebühne is covered, and the spectator area is partially covered as well. In case of storms or severe weather, organizers will provide information on the city's website and the Kreissparkasse Heilbronn's social media channels.
