Pyro Games — the duel of the pyrotechnicians at F60 — is one of Germany's most spectacular pyrotechnic events. In front of the backdrop of the massive F60 conveyor bridge, the 502-meter-long industrial monument in the Lusatian mining landscape, fireworks teams will compete against each other in a musically choreographed competition on August 8, 2026. Getting There

By car: A13 Berlin–Dresden, exit Großräschen or A15, exit Cottbus-Nord, then country road towards Lichterfeld (B96/B169). Parking spaces are designated at the F60 site. By train: RE2 to Lübbenau or RE7 to Doberlug-Kirchhain, then shuttle/taxi.

The F60 conveyor bridge near Lichterfeld-Schacksdorf is a behemoth: 502 meters long, 80 meters high — the largest moving machine in the world by volume, built for lignite mining. Today, as the F60 Visitor Mine, it is an industrial monument of European significance. Precisely this backdrop makes the location a pyrotechnician's dream — and for years, the venue for the Pyro Games, a touring format across Germany where several pyrotechnic teams compete for the audience's favor.
