Yoga on the Baltic Sea Beach

The Krishna Beach Yoga Festival takes place in the Baltic Sea resort of Sellin on the island of Rügen, in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For three days, the seaside resort transforms into a meeting point for the yoga scene. Practice locations include Friedensberg, the beach, and even platforms on the water – the Baltic Sea gives the festival its special atmosphere.

Diversity of Styles

The program includes numerous courses in various yoga styles: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini are among them, as are special formats like SUP yoga on stand-up paddleboards, WOGA, and Pranayama breathing exercises. Both beginners and experienced yogis will find suitable offers. A diverse selection of teachers leads the courses.

Mantra Concerts and Sound Journeys

In addition to physical practice, music is also part of the festival: Mantra concerts are performed every evening, along with sound journeys. This combination of movement, breath, and sound makes the Krishna Beach Yoga Festival more than just a sports event – it's a weekend for body and mind.

Yoga for the Whole Family

The festival was initiated by yoga teacher Dörte Freitag, also known as Lakshmi, who brings decades of experience in dance, fitness, and yoga. She sees the festival as a "space for love and peace." Children up to twelve years old have free admission, so the festival explicitly appeals to families. The festival cooperates with the Sellin spa administration.
