Seven Markets, One Experience

During Advent, Düsseldorf becomes a highly thematically differentiated Christmas market universe: Instead of one central main market, seven different markets will be spread across the Old Town, the Rhine promenade, Königsallee, and Schadowstraße in 2026. Each market has its own atmosphere and assortment — visiting all of them offers several hours of experiencing different festive worlds.

The Düsseldorf markets run from Thursday, November 20 to Wednesday, December 30, 2026. The opening of the main market (Roncalli's Christmas Promenade) is on Nov 20 at 11:00 AM.

• Roncalli's Christmas Promenade on the Rhine promenade — the spectacular main market with stylistic elements of the famous Roncalli Circus
