The Kirmes Körner is the central secular Volksfest of the village of Körner — one of the districts of the rural municipality Nottertal-Heilinger Höhen in the Unstrut-Hainich district. Traditionally, the Kirmes takes place on the third weekend in October — a time when the harvest is complete and autumn reaches its peak in the rolling hills of West Thuringia.

Program — Dancing, Frühschoppen, Family

The Kirmesgesellschaft Körner (Körner Fair Society) has organized the festival according to the classic schedule for decades: Opening on Friday evening with a dance in the festival tent, live music by regional bands on Saturday evening, Sunday morning Frühschoppen with brass music, children's fair on Sunday afternoon, and a cozy end to the festival in the evening.

Nottertal-Heilinger Höhen — Rural Municipality in West Thuringia

The Nottertal-Heilinger Höhen rural municipality is an association municipality formed in 2018 in the Unstrut-Hainich district — Körner is one of its approximately twelve districts.
