In the Schwaighausen district or quarter, a distinct street Kirchweih is celebrated in September — the „Kärwa", as the Kirchweih is affectionately called in Franconia.

The venue is the village center along Nürnberger Straße. The festive opening takes place on Kärwa Friday at 7 PM with the Kirchweih being opened by the Schützen.
