Franconian Kärwa in Dombühl
Dombühl is a market town in the district of Ansbach in West Middle Franconia, located on the Ansbach–Crailsheim railway line. Once a year, traditionally at the beginning of October, the town celebrates its Kirchweih — a real Franconian Kärwa with a festival tent, music, and conviviality, organized by the market town.
Festival Tent on the Market Square
The venue is the festival tent on the market square. The Kärwa is opened with the traditional beer tapping ceremony by the mayor. Over the festival days, a varied program unfolds with festival tent activities, brass and popular music, and convivial gatherings of the village community.
