Wettringen is located in western Middle Franconia near the A 7 motorway (Rothenburg ob der Tauber exit, approx. 20 km). Nearest train station: Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Parking available at the market square and in the surrounding streets.

A Franconian Kirchweih in the Middle of Summer
The Kirchweih Wettringen is the annual summer Kirchweih of the municipality of Wettringen in the Ansbach district. It is celebrated every year in July on Wettringen Market Square and is one of the oldest Franconian Kerwa traditions in western Middle Franconia. Wikipedia explicitly lists the "Kirchweih im Juli" as a recurring event of the municipality.
