The Kinky Beach Festival is one of Berlin's most established sex-positive open-air festivals: two days of Techno, Euro-Trance, Psytrance, and Silent Disco on the Spree riverbank at SAGE Beach, an urban beach between Kreuzberg and Treptow. Three to four floors (Beach, Container, Indoor, Silent Disco), 18+ DJs on the lineup, Kink Market, fire performances, 'Playgrounds & Love Lounges', strict consent and awareness concept, mobile phone cameras are taped at the entrance. The 2026 edition takes place on the weekend of May 31 to June 1 at SAGE Beach Berlin (Köpenicker Straße 18-20, 10997 Berlin-Kreuzberg). Strictly sex-positive, with an explicitly defined consent concept and continuous awareness.

Tickets range from €29 to €50 depending on the phase and floor; combo tickets with the UNLEASHED pre-party at Insomnia Club on Friday evening, May 30th, are also available (with wristband: express entry to the festival).

S-Bahn S3/S5/S7/S9 Ostbahnhof (5 min walk), U1/U3 Schlesisches Tor (10 min walk). Parking is difficult by car – the entire Köpenicker Straße is a resident-only zone in Kreuzberg.

Water, Sun, Techno, and Kink

The Kinky Beach Festival combines four elements that rarely come together: Water (Spree riverbank), Sun (open-air at the start of the season in late May), Techno (several floors, main stage, and indoor), and Kink (sex-positive community culture with its own market and performances). The result is a festival with a very clear profile – not a generic open-air event, but a curated day for a dedicated community, which is also open to newcomers as long as they respect the house rules.

In addition to the floors, there is a Kink Market with local and international vendors (latex designers, toymakers, bondage specialists), fire performances, Playgrounds and Love Lounges as protected retreat areas, and food trucks. All this under a strict, clearly defined consent concept: ask before every interaction, accept every 'no', respect others' privacy. Awareness teams are available around the clock, mobile phone cameras are taped at the entrance, and photography is forbidden.

SAGE Beach as the Venue

SAGE Beach (Köpenicker Straße 18-20, 10997 Berlin) is located in the Kreuzberg district, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borough, directly on the Spree river, a five-minute walk from Ostbahnhof S-Bahn station. It is one of the few Berlin locations that combines an urban sandy beach with club infrastructure – pool, sun loungers, shaded areas, beach floor.

Who Attends

The audience is predominantly between 25 and 45, a mix of Berlin community members and international visitors who travel for the weekend. Dress code: kink, queer, sexy – not mandatory, but swimwear, latex, patent leather, leather, and quirky outfits are the norm. Coming in jeans and a polo shirt will make you stand out.
