The Osterweg (Easter Trail) at Triefenstein Monastery is a discovery tour for the whole family through the monastery grounds on the Main. On Good Friday and Holy Saturday, a trail with 15 stations leads through the Easter story – designed for adults and children alike. Visitors gain access to normally closed areas of the monastery, including the barrel-vaulted cellar. Admission is free (donations requested). Triefenstein Monastery is located on the Main in the municipality of Triefenstein in the Main-Spessart district, in the Lower Franconia region of Bavaria. The Protestant Christusträger Brotherhood has been based here since 1986.
