A Village Celebrates Its Children

Sollwitt is a small municipality in the Amt Viöl, Nordfriesland district, with just over 500 inhabitants. Like many places in the North Frisian Geest, Sollwitt has a diverse club life and an active fire brigade. The annual Kinderfest (children's festival) on the sports field at the old school is one of those dates that showcases village life — without tourist spectacle, simply for the children.
