Afternoon festival for children with village festival in the evening in Krempermarsch
Krempermoor is a small municipality with just under 1,000 inhabitants in the Amt Krempermarsch in the Steinburg district of the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The Krempermarsch — flat alluvial land between the Stör, Elbe, and Krückau rivers — is one of the oldest settled cultural landscapes in Northern Germany. Village festivals here are embedded in the annual cycle of the agriculturally characterized municipality.
The Kinderfest on the festival meadow runs from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM — game stations for various age groups, skill games, craft activities, tombola, sausages, and lemonade. In the evening, the Dorffest with dancing for adults takes place on the same grounds, organized in cooperation between the Amt Krempermarsch and local clubs.
The date August 29, 2026, is listed in the official event calendar of the municipality of Krempermoor and the Amt Krempermarsch. The Kinderfest runs in the afternoon, and the Dorffest continues the format in the evening for the older generation.
