A Village Festival with Two Faces

The Dorffest Krempermoor combines two events under one roof: the afternoon children's festival and the evening celebration for the village community. Both take place on the same day on the festival meadow, located on the outskirts of the municipality in the Steinburg district. While the children conquer the festival grounds with games and fun from 2:00 PM, the adults take over from 8:30 PM, and the festival transitions into a relaxed summer night.

The Krempermarsch as a Backdrop

Krempermoor is located in the Krempermarsch, a vast marshland south of the Stör river. The village, with just under 300 inhabitants, is part of the Amt Krempermarsch and, along with neighboring communities like Krempdorf and Neuenbrook, shapes the region around the town of Krempe. The village festival is one of the few larger social events in the annual calendar here – consequently, it is well-attended by residents from the entire administrative district.
