Irish Folk Concert at Rittergut Etzdorf

A Piece of Ireland in Saalekreis

The Rittergut Etzdorf is located in the municipality of Teutschenthal in the Saalekreis district, about 12 km west of Halle (Saale). The listed manor is now operated as an event location and farm and hosts various cultural formats throughout the year – from winter markets to concerts.

One of the regular formats is the Irish Folk Concert in the Beer Garden: a concert evening where the manor transforms into an Irish pub for one night. Open-air beer garden in the afternoon, concert in the event barn in the evening – a simple but very fitting combination that has made the manor known beyond the region.

Paddy's Law (formerly F.misd)

The band taking over the concert in 2026 is now called Paddy's Law and has been performing as F.misd for years. They play classic Irish Folk – robust pub numbers as well as gentle ballads, traditional pieces from the Irish repertoire, and maritime themes. Handmade music, acoustic, and with the typical mix of fiddle, bouzouki, accordion, and vocals.

Rittergut Etzdorf – The Location

The manor is located in the middle of the rural landscape of Teutschenthal. Inner courtyard, event barn, garden areas – all in historic manor architecture. In May, the courtyard is green, the days get longer, and the beer garden invites you to linger in the early evening. The event barn is acoustically designed and offers a very direct concert experience for around 200 guests.

Teutschenthal belongs to the Saalekreis district in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, southwest of Halle. The municipality is known for its mining and the former salt mine – today it is more of a rural commuter community. The drive from Halle takes about 20 minutes by car.
