A Manor, a Beer Garden, a Stage

The Rittergut Etzdorf is one of the most extraordinary event locations in Saxony-Anhalt: a 9th-century estate that was a royal Prussian property from 1732 to 1847, came into the possession of the Schröder family in 1871, and has been lovingly restored by the Hayssen family since 1995. The Art Nouveau manor house, several clinker buildings, and the spacious inner courtyard form a rarely preserved ensemble. In this setting, the estate hosts a series of concerts every year – including Irish Folk, classical music, a winter market, and the popular 50ties Rock 'n' Roll Concert with a beer garden at the end of the season.

In the Saalekreis, on the Outskirts of Halle

Etzdorf belongs to the municipality of Teutschenthal in the Saalekreis district, just west of Halle (Saale). The area is characterized by the mining history of the Mansfelder Revier, the Querfurter Platte, and the vast fields of southern Saxony-Anhalt. The estate offers a highly restored piece of local history, embedded in this rural environment.

The Vibe: Brilliantine and Big Bopper

At the 50ties concerts, Rittergut brings the musical world of Elvis, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Eddie Cochran to the inner courtyard: Rockabilly and Rock 'n' Roll bands from Central Germany play live classics from the 1950s, the audience is welcome to dress in petticoats, leather jackets, and slicked-back hair, and the beer garden serves cold draft beer and hearty food. It's less a festival and more a small, exquisite reminder of the music that truly changed the century.

More Than an Evening

Rittergut Etzdorf hosts concerts, weddings, markets (winter market in January, spring market, etc.), and seminars year-round. The 50ties concert is part of a series of events that focus on the estate experience: small audience numbers, personal setting, high-quality acoustics.
