Festival with Sea Air and Dyke Scenery
The In litore Music Festival is a young project: the first edition took place in 2022, and since then the festival at Stinteck-Strand in the municipality of Westerdeichstrich (Dithmarschen district, Schleswig-Holstein state) has established itself as one of the most important stops on the North German electronic music scene. Its location directly on the North Sea gives the festival a unique setting: salty air, wide horizons, and sunsets over the mudflats are just as much a part of the experience as the beats.
Two Stages, Clear Profiles
- Mainstage — the large, brightly pulsating main dance floor for mainstream, House, and Big Room. Headliners 2026: YAMAS, Paul Wolf, Le Shuuk, Robin White
- CIRCUS Stage — the second stage with an underground profile and deeper sound. Confirmed: H.O.L.Z.I., Ericsson, Nikki Breuer and others
The line-up includes a total of 24 artists. The musical spectrum ranges from EDM and Big Room to House, Techno, and Mainstream Pop – deliberately broad to cater to both crowd-pleaser hits and DJ sets for enthusiasts.
Camping by the Dyke
Two camping options directly on the event grounds:
- Standard Camping — own tent, shared facilities
- Silent Camping — quieter area for those who seek sleep after the sets rather than an afterparty
Cashless and 18+
The festival uses an RFID wristband system: no cash on site, everything is handled via the wristbands. Minimum age 18 years, ID required. The festival takes place in all weather conditions – warm clothing, a rain poncho, and sturdy shoes (sand!) are recommended.
Location and Significance
Westerdeichstrich is located directly next to Büsumer Deichhausen on the Wadden Sea in the Dithmarschen district. The region is known beyond its borders as a tourist destination with shrimp cutters and dyke landscapes – In litore consciously positions itself as an urban counter-offensive to the classic family holiday atmosphere of the North Sea coast, attracting a young, mainly North German audience from Hamburg, Bremen, and Schleswig-Holstein.

5th Edition
2026 marks the fifth anniversary of the In litore Festival. Organizers and regular attendees anticipate the largest edition yet, with an expanded program, enhanced stage concepts, and improved camping offerings.

Friday, August 14, 2026
- 3:00 PM — Camping opens and festival gates open
- 6:00 PM — First sets on the CIRCUS Stage
- 8:00 PM — Mainstage opening
- 10:00 PM — Mainstage Headliner (likely YAMAS or Le Shuuk)
- 2:00 AM — Festival ends, after-sets allowed in the camping area
Saturday, August 15, 2026
- 2:00 PM — Beach opens, daytime program
- 4:00 PM–2:00 AM — Mainstage and CIRCUS Stage run concurrently, headliners between 10:00 PM and 1:00 AM
- Highlight 2026: Paul Wolf and Robin White on the Mainstage
Sunday, August 16, 2026
- 12:00 PM — Camping departure
- (Sunday is typically used as a departure day for the 5th edition, possibly with closing sets until 2:00 PM)

Getting There
By train to Büsum or Heide, then shuttle bus to the festival grounds. By car via the B203 towards Büsum, then Stinteck-Strand – parking is available directly at the grounds for a fee.
Tickets
Online via inlitore.de. Tickets are sold in several phases – Early Bird and Presale are usually sold out, with regular and Last Call phases at higher prices. Camping passes are booked separately.
Access
Minimum age 18 years, ID at the entrance. RFID wristband for all payments on site (can be topped up in advance). No cash on the grounds.
What to Bring
Warm clothing, rain poncho, sturdy shoes, tent for camping, headlamp.
