Spring at an Organic Estate
Gut Bliestorf is located in the municipality of Bliestorf, Amt Berkenthin, in the district of Herzogtum Lauenburg in the state of Schleswig-Holstein — halfway between Hamburg and Lübeck, in one of the most beautiful landscapes of the northern Sachsenwald. The historic estate is now home to an organic nursery and several workshops and cultural initiatives — and has been hosting its traditional Hoffest on May 1st for years.

Hoffest Gut Bliestorf — edition 2026
May Day at the Organic Estate
On May 1st, 2026, Gut Bliestorf opens its gates from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM for the Hoffest 2026. The nursery presents organic plants, perennials, and herbs; stalls offer wood crafts, jewelry, ceramics, and pottery.
Throughout the day, there will be three musical-meditative sessions: Spring songs with Thomas Janzen at 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM, mantra singing with Dunja Siebel in the nursery at 3:00 PM. For children, there are pony rides, clown and theater performances, as well as a tipi with stick bread.

By car via the A24 (exit Reinfeld or Mölln), then towards Berkenthin/Bliestorf. By train to Lübeck or Schwarzenbek, then continue by bus. Parking available at the estate.
