The Herbstmarkt Schloss Eulenbroich is one of the established arts and crafts markets in the Bergisches Land region — and one of the few that uses an intact moated castle complex as its backdrop. Schloss Eulenbroich is located in the Hoffnungsthal district of Rösrath — nestled in the Sülz river valley and surrounded by the traditional Bergisches Land mixed forest. The late Gothic castle complex is owned by a non-profit organization, whose proceeds flow into restoration and the cultural program.

Purpose and Sponsorship

The proceeds from the Herbstmarkt benefit the non-profit Schloss Eulenbroich gGmbH and finance the ongoing restoration and cultural programming of the castle complex. This makes visiting a contribution to the preservation of a Bergisches Land cultural monument.
