In October 2026, the Deckenpfronn Music Association invites you to the annual Autumn and Wine Festival in the community hall. The exact date will be announced in spring 2026 on the official community website under traditionelle-feste — it is traditionally celebrated on a weekend in October.

Programme — Wine, Brass Music, and Autumnal Cuisine

The Autumn and Wine Festival is a classic Swabian club festival:

• Wine Service — regional wines from the Heckengäu, the Württemberg wine-growing region, and selected wines from further afield
• Autumnal Cuisine — Onion cake with Federweißer (new wine), game goulash, Swabian Spätzle, pumpkin soup, Maultaschen
• Brass Music from the Deckenpfronn Music Association itself as well as from friendly bands from the Böblingen district
• Accompanying Offers — Coffee with homemade cake, drinks of all kinds

Heckengäu — Landscape between the Black Forest and the Swabian Jura

Deckenpfronn is located in the Heckengäu, a low mountain range plateau in southwestern Baden-Württemberg. The typical landscape with its hedges, mixed orchards, and rolling hills has been shaped by agriculture for centuries. Streuobstwein (fruit orchard wine) and sparkling wine made from regional grapes are part of the region's culinary heritage, alongside classic Württemberg wines.

Deckenpfronn — Municipality in the Böblingen District

With around 3,300 inhabitants, Deckenpfronn is one of the smaller municipalities in the Böblingen district. The municipality is located about 5 km north of Herrenberg and has been shaped by agriculture for centuries. The central community hall at Marktplatz 1 is the venue for the most important club festivals — from the Autumn and Wine Festival to the May Festival and the Advent Market. Clubs such as the Music Association, the Sports Club, and the Fire Brigade contribute to public life.
