Halloween in the Middle of the City Center

Pinneberg is the district town of the Pinneberg district in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, located directly northwest of Hamburg — a city with a vibrant retail sector, whose city center is an important regional shopping destination every weekend. Since 2020, Stadtmarketing Pinneberg e.V. has turned the last weekend of October into a Halloween event: shop window decorations, a spooky streetscape, activities for children and families — and on Sunday, a day with open shops that fills the city with life.

What to Expect

• Activities for children and families (craft and face-painting stations, small hands-on activities by retailers)
• Sunday shopping throughout the entire city center on November 1st

For Whom?

The event is aimed at families and children from Pinneberg and the entire Pinneberg district, as well as from western Hamburg. Those living in Hamburg's commuter belt can head to Pinneberg for a free, family-friendly Halloween event without the big-city crowds.
