Over 40 Hours of Live Music at Haigern
Haigern is a ridge between the Heilbronn municipalities of Talheim and Flein, with a wide view over Franconian Württemberg, the Heuchelberg, and the vineyards of the Neckar valley. For years, the Förderverein Kinderfreizeit Haigern e.V. has hosted the benefit open-air of the same name here — a festival whose entire proceeds fund children's leisure activities at Haigern. 2026 brings an important innovation: for the first time, the festival will start on a Thursday, expanding it to four festival days. Over 40 hours of live music with 15 bands and artists spread across four evenings, attracting thousands of visitors daily from the Heilbronn and Stuttgart regions.
The 2026 Headliners: Kamrad, Jan Delay, Clueso
The musical pinnacle of the 2026 festival speaks for itself: Kamrad, the German pop singer-songwriter and multi-platinum artist ('So Long', 'Sad to See You Happy'), brings his warm, melodic pop to Heilbronn. Jan Delay, the Hamburg-based soul/reggae/funk artist ('Klar', 'Oh Jonny'), performs with his live band Disko No. 1 — one of the best German live acts of the last 20 years. Clueso, the singer-songwriter from Erfurt with the unmistakable voice ('Zu schnell vorbei', 'Achterbahn'), completes the headliner trio. Three acts that, individually, would justify their own festival tour.

Alongside the headliners, Haigern Live! focuses on talent promotion: Grungetime brings 90s alternative rock energy to Haigern, Yosu offers German pop, Franzi and Sammy Milo represent young German singer-songwriters, Mille with indie-pop hits, and die Weichhölzer as a regional insider tip. The booking concept is clear: headliners with national appeal, rising stars from the top league, and regional talents — a pyramid that combines diversity and identity.
Family Day, Climbing Wall, and Fireworks
Sunday is Stimme-Family-Day: free admission, a comprehensive children's and supporting program for participation and amazement, a climbing wall, game stations, and craft activities. This is more than marketing — it's a mission: the Förderverein Kinderfreizeit Haigern wants to show local families what is actually supported with the festival proceeds. In the evening, fireworks will conclude the four-day spectacle — an emotional closing that shapes the festival as a family experience.

Open-Air Festival 2026 will take place from Thursday, July 23rd to Sunday, July 26th, 2026, on Haigern between Talheim and Flein near Heilbronn — for the first time with four festival days (Thursday start as a new feature). Getting There
By Car: A 81 (Stuttgart–Würzburg), exit Heilbronn/Untergruppenbach, then follow signs for Talheim. Festival grounds at Haigern, signposted access roads. Parking available at Haigern and in Talheim/Flein. By Train: Heilbronn station, then shuttle bus to the festival grounds (details on the website).
