Getting There

Hagen Hauptbahnhof (main station) is accessible by ICE/IC and RE trains from Cologne, Dortmund, and Kassel. From the main station, take bus 510 or 511 to Hagen-Emst (Marktplatz). By car, take the A45 (Sauerlandlinie, Hagen exit) or the A1 (Hagen-West exit). Parking is available in Emst.

Tip

If you're running in Hagen for the first time: Study the course beforehand on the Concordia website — you should be aware of the climbs. For the Half Marathon, hill training in the weeks prior is recommended.

The run earns this moniker because of the significant elevation changes imposed by the hilly terrain of Hagen. In 2026, SC Concordia Hagen 1967 e.V. will host the 56th edition of its traditional run — with start and finish at the Marktplatz Hagen-Emst in the Emst district.
