The Harbor Becomes a Stage

Wyk auf Föhr is the only town on the North Frisian island of Föhr (Nordfriesland district, Schleswig-Holstein state). With around 4,500 inhabitants, Wyk is the island's economic and tourist center — and Wyk's inner harbor, with its shrimp cutters, excursion boats, and the WDR ferry ticket office, is the heart of the townscape. The Hafenfestival turns this backdrop into a four-day summer event.

What to Expect

The East Quay of the inner harbor becomes the festival area:

The Hafenfestival fits seamlessly into Föhr's event calendar: between the Föhrer Stadtfest, SHMF concerts, and Inselwoche, it offers a distinctly maritime profile.
