18th edition of the charity run in Gütersloh City Park – Bambini, School Run, 5 and 10 km Sparkassen Evening Run for the German Stroke Aid Foundation
The run Gütersloh Läuft is Gütersloh's largest sporting event and one of the established charity runs in Ostwestfalen. Since its premiere in 2009, the event has combined sporting ambition with social commitment: 1 Euro per registration is donated directly to the Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe (German Stroke Aid Foundation). Over 18 editions, more than 50,000 Euros have flowed to the foundation.
The 18th edition will take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Gütersloh City Park. The start/finish area is the Heidewald Stadium. Program structure:
In 2026, the children's runs are completely free, financed by the main sponsor Hagedorn Group. This sponsorship initiative relieves families and makes the run a hurdle-free family event. Registration fees apply for adults (approx. €15–€25 depending on distance and registration time).
The runs take place in Gütersloh City Park – one of the largest city parks in Ostwestfalen. The routes run over asphalted park paths and paved trails through the park. Characteristics:
