Volksfest Tradition in the Vilstal

The Gerzen Volksfest is the convivial highlight of the Lower Bavarian municipality of Gerzen in the district of Landshut. For four days, the festival grounds transform into a meeting point for the entire region: In the festival tent, beer and wheat beer from the traditional Aldersbach brewery flow, accompanied by a rich selection of cold and warm dishes as well as numerous festival specialties.

A varied musical program ensures entertainment – from traditional brass music to party bands that get the festival tent swaying and dancing. The amusement park with rides opens daily from 2:00 PM and makes the festival an experience for families and children too.
