Neighbourhood Festival in a Prefab District
Hohenstücken is a district of Brandenburg an der Havel – a typical GDR prefabricated housing estate from the 1970s and 80s. The annual neighbourhood festival 'Gemeinsam Hohenstücken' is an expression of neighbourhood work and celebrates its 5th edition in 2026.

The festival takes place on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 9 AM to 2 PM on the grounds of the Bürgerhaus Hohenstücken (Walther-Ausländer-Straße 1).

Creative Radio Theatre
The city's streetworkers are organizing an interactive radio theatre.
Craft Activities by the VHS
The Volkshochschule Brandenburg (Adult Education Centre) is present with two interactive stations: building small windmills and constructing simple water filters.
Children's Rights Twister
The school social worker runs a large Twister game, with fields labelled with symbols for children's rights.
Puppet Theatre
Classic children's puppet theatre with an educational background.
