The Gaufest of the Bavarian Inngau Traditional Costume Association is one of the largest traditional costume festivals in the Upper Bavarian Inntal Valley and will be held in Nußdorf am Inn in 2026. For ten days, the village at the foot of the Heuberg mountain transforms into a meeting point for traditional costume enthusiasts: from the festive beer tapping to the grand festival day with a church procession and parade, to the concluding festival week with dances and 'Plattler' (a traditional folk dance), the customs of the Inngau region are the focus. The host is the GTEV "Alpenrose" Nußdorf e.V., which is also celebrating its 130th anniversary. Visitors can experience genuine Upper Bavarian traditional costume life with brass band music, folk dances, and parades in historical costumes on the festival meadow and in the festival tent.
