Werdenfels Customs in the Festival Tent
The Garmischer Festwoche is the major folk festival of the Garmisch district in the market town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen at the foot of the Zugspitze. The venue is the festival tent in Wittelsbacher Park on Alleestraße, close to the town center and easily accessible. Traditionally, a separate festival week is also celebrated in the Partenkirchen district, staggered in time.

Organization

Getting There
Garmisch-Partenkirchen is easily accessible by train (Munich–Garmisch line) and via the B2/B23 federal roads. The festival tent is located in Wittelsbacher Park on Alleestraße, within walking distance of the town center.
Admission
Entry to the festival tent is free; table reservations can be made through the Veteran and Costume Association Garmisch (vtv-garmisch). Costs are incurred for food and drinks.
