GaPa Live is the major open-air concert series in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Formerly known as "Musik im Park", GaPa Kultur gGmbH today presents a diverse live programme under the open sky during the summer months: Rock, Pop, and relaxed sounds transform the well-known winter sports resort at the foot of the Zugspitze into a stage with a great atmosphere. Over 90 events range from traditional brass band music by the Garmisch and Partenkirchen bands to classical music, Oberkrainer evenings, and salsa classes, right through to special rock nights. GaPa Live makes the summer in Garmisch-Partenkirchen a vibrant musical experience for locals and guests alike.
