Open-air concert series in Garmisch-Partenkirchen
GaPa Live is the central open-air concert series in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Evolved from the former "Musik im Park" series, the format now focuses on high-calibre musical performances under the open sky. Garmisch-Partenkirchen itself becomes the stage – with live music, cool acts, and a great atmosphere right in the town centre.
Over 90 events are planned per season. The programme ranges from traditional brass band music by the Garmisch and Partenkirchen bands to classical music, Oberkrainer evenings, and salsa classes, right through to special rock nights. Rock, Pop, and relaxed sounds ensure a varied programme for every taste.
The organiser is GaPa Kultur gGmbH. The open-air atmosphere against the backdrop of the Alps lends the concerts a special flair and makes GaPa Live a firm fixture of the cultural summer in the market town.
