Spring Kick-off in the Oldest Wine Town in Franconia
The Frühjahrsmarkt Hammelburg heralds spring every year in March in the historic old town. It is organized by the city of Hammelburg and the local business association. The market square, Kissinger Straße, and Bahnhofstraße become a lively market mile.
Regional Products and Arts and Crafts
Regional producers, vintners, and artisans present their products at the stalls. There are also information stands from local businesses and several flea markets, the proceeds of which benefit local organizations.

On both days, a carousel, children's crafts, and a play bus at Niedertor provide fun for children. An Easter egg hunt through participating shop windows with small prizes attracts the youngest visitors. On Sunday, puppet theater, a bouncy castle, and emergency vehicles for viewing are added.

The Frühjahrsmarkt Hammelburg 2026 runs on March 21 and 22, from 11 AM to 6 PM daily, in the old town around Kissinger Straße, Bahnhofstraße, and Marktplatz. Regional producers, vintners, artisans, and flea markets create the market mile.
