The Big Spring Fair for Holidays and Leisure
The Freizeit Messe Nürnberg is one of Bavaria's traditional consumer fairs. The organizer is AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH. Every year in March, the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre transforms into a huge stage for wanderlust and leisure activities.

Across approximately 50,000 square meters of gross floor space, around 500 exhibitors cover a broad spectrum of topics: holiday regions and tour operators, camping and caravaning, outdoor and hiking, water sports, garden and leisure equipment. From March 4th to 8th, 2026, the Freizeit Messe Nürnberg will open its doors at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. Around 500 exhibitors in six halls will present the entire spectrum from travel and holidays to camping and caravanning, as well as outdoor, sports, and garden on approximately 50,000 square meters of gross floor space.
The fair is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (entry until 5 p.m.). Around 60,000 visitors are expected. The organizer is AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH.

The Nuremberg Exhibition Centre is directly accessible via subway line U1 (station »Messe«). By car: around 13,500 parking spaces, including charging stations for electric vehicles.
