Street Food in the Franconian Metropolis
The Food Truck Festival Nuremberg is one of the best-known street food events in Franconia. It takes place every spring on the Jedermanns-Sportplatz behind the Arena Nuremberg – right in the middle of the independent city of Nuremberg in the state of Bavaria. The festival is organized by Funtastic GmbH from Fürth.
Culinary Offerings
The focus is on carefully selected food trucks and stands with specialties from all over the world. The selection ranges from burgers and international street food classics to sweet treats. Many trucks offer tasting portions, allowing guests to discover different cuisines.

Food Truck Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Food Truck Festival Nuremberg runs from Thursday, May 14th, to Sunday, May 17th, 2026. The festival opens on Thursday (Ascension Day) at 12 PM. On the first three days, opening hours are from 12 PM to 11 PM, and on Sunday from 12 PM to 8 PM. At the Jedermanns-Sportplatz behind the Arena Nuremberg, selected food trucks and stands will present culinary specialties from around the world. This will be accompanied by around 30 hours of live music, a family day with puppet theater and magicians, an activity park, a beer pong area, a chill-out zone, a cocktail bar, and an open-air shisha bar. Around 5,000 visitors are expected.

Getting There
The venue is located at Kurt-Schmidtpeter-Weg 10, 90471 Nuremberg, behind the Arena Nuremberg in the Dutzendteich area. You can get there using public transport (S-Bahn/U-Bahn towards Dutzendteich/Messe) or via the A9/A73 motorways.
Admission
Admission costs a one-time fee of 2 Euros for the entire weekend. Children under 14 have free admission.
