Freising's Musical Pub Crawl Night

The Freising Music Night is the annual music festival that takes over the entire city center of Freising. The concept is as simple as it is appealing: once you pay the entrance fee and wear the wristband, you can hop from bar to bar, from café to open-air stage in one evening, experiencing an astonishingly broad musical spectrum. Freising, the old cathedral city north of Munich in Bavaria, thus becomes a lively concert mile for one night.

20 Venues, 25 Bands, All Genres

In around 20 venues, cafés, and on open-air stages, approximately 25 live bands and DJs will perform. The program spans a wide range:

• Rock, Pop, Blues, and Grunge
• Jazz, Salsa, Swing, and Funk
• EDM, Country, Folk, and Singer-Songwriter

This ensures every audience finds its sound – and moving between locations is explicitly part of the concept.

From Afternoon to Late Night

The musical program begins in the afternoon: around 3 PM with EDM in front of Chocolaterie Muschler and from 4 PM with upcoming artists at Marienplatz. From 8 PM, the other acts will play in the surrounding venues and at other performance spaces. Afterwards, the "Nachti" serves as the aftershow location to wind down the night.

The Music Night is organized by the cultural association Prima leben und stereo e.V. (PLUS), which has been committed to a vibrant cultural life in Freising for years. The event is an important meeting point for the regional music scene and simultaneously strengthens the city center and its gastronomy in the Freising district.
