Maritime World of Experience by the Water
FLAIR AM MEER is the spring fair of the IGA Park Rostock. The motto for 2026 is "Back to the Water!" – a reference to the event taking place directly at the Land's End of the IGA Park, overlooking the traditional ship and the harbor promenade. The IGA Park Rostock GmbH is responsible for the organization.
Exhibitors and Themes
Around 100 exhibitors present trends and ideas over four days: blooming plants for the garden, stylish decorations, maritime fashion, selected wines, regional and homemade delicacies. In addition, there are garden and lifestyle worlds where visitors can find inspiration for their own outdoor season.
Stage and Sports Highlights
Performances by regional artists alternate on the stage. On Thursday and Friday, the ROSTOCK SEAWOLVES bring basketball action to the court; on Sundays, a skate park invites participation. The highlight on Saturday is the official Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state barbecue championship – live cooking, barbecue techniques, and tastings. Sunday is family day with special programs for children.
Regional Context
Since the International Garden Exhibition 2003, the IGA Park Rostock in the Schmarl district has been one of the most important open-air venues in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. With its location directly on the water, it offers the ideal backdrop for a spring event with a maritime character. Alongside FLAIR AM SEE and FLAIR HERBST, FLAIR AM MEER is part of the supra-regional FLAIR series.
FLAIR AM MEER — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of FLAIR AM MEER will take place from May 14 to 17, 2026, at the Land's End of the IGA Park Rostock – directly on the harbor promenade and by the traditional ship. Motto: "Back to the Water!". The organizer is IGA Park Rostock GmbH.
Around 100 exhibitors will present blooming plants, decorations, maritime fashion, wines, and regional delicacies. Regional artists will alternate on stage. On Thursday and Friday, the ROSTOCK SEAWOLVES will perform with basketball action, Saturday will feature the official Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania state barbecue championship, and Sunday will focus on the family program and skate park.

Getting There
Take tram line 1, 5, or 6 to Schmarl/IGA Park, then a short walk. By car, take the A20 or B105, with parking available directly at the IGA Park.
