Summer concert in front of the village church in Dallgow-Döberitz, Havelland
On June 21, 2026, the international day of music, Dallgow-Döberitz in the Havelland district will celebrate the Fête de la Musique with a summer concert in front of the historic Döberitz Village Church. The concept is born in the spirit of the international initiative: free live music under the open sky, accessible to all.
The musical core is formed by the Collegium musicum of the Havelland Music School, an ensemble of advanced students and teachers from the music school. The program ranges from classical music to pop, ragtime, and film scores — a mix that reflects the broad musical spectrum of the music school and appeals to audiences of different age groups.
The Fête de la Musique was launched in Paris in 1982 and takes place worldwide every year on June 21 — the longest day of the year. Today, over 540 cities participate. Dallgow-Döberitz is part of this network and offers a particularly atmospheric setting with its village church.
With around 10,000 inhabitants, Dallgow-Döberitz is a growing municipality in the Havelland district, directly on the border with Berlin and Potsdam. The municipality is known for the adjacent Döberitzer Heide nature reserve (former military training area, now a wilderness area with Przewalski's horses and European bison) and its mix of Märkisch village character and Berlin commuter belt modernity.
The Fête de la Musique Döberitz 2026 will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in front of the historic Döberitz village church. The concert will be performed by the Collegium musicum of the Havelland Music School — an ensemble of advanced students and teachers from the music school.
The program is deliberately broad: from classical music to pop arrangements, ragtime, and film scores. This performance appeals to different generations and fits the spirit of the Fête de la Musique, which celebrates music in its entire stylistic breadth.
