Concert in the Rococo Garden

The Serenade in the Hofgarten Veitshöchheim is one of the most atmospheric concert evenings of the Franconian summer. The venue is the Rococo Garden Veitshöchheim, one of the most important preserved Rococo gardens in Europe, with artfully trimmed hedges, water features, and mythological sculptures. Salaputia Brass

On the serenade stage is the renowned brass ensemble Salaputia Brass – ten brass players and one percussionist. The ensemble presents its characteristic program of timeless hits from the 16th to the 20th century: Renaissance works meet West Side Story, Sting, and Henry Mancini. Virtuosity, joy of playing, and a tongue-in-cheek approach to styles characterize their concerts.

Part of the Mozartfest Würzburg

The serenade is part of the renowned Mozartfest Würzburg, one of the oldest and most important Mozart festivals in Germany. The serenade concerts in the palace garden of Würzburg Residence and in the Rococo Garden Veitshöchheim are among the audience favorites of the festival.

Veitshöchheim – The Summer Residence

The Hofgarten Veitshöchheim once served the Prince-Bishops of Würzburg as a summer residence. Today, the garden is an attraction for cultural travelers – and on serenade evenings, an open-air concert hall.
