The Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is one of Germany's largest classical festivals, featuring around 130 concerts between mid-June and mid-September. The Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg has been one of its regular venues since its opening in 2001 — it is also home to the Neubrandenburger Philharmonie.

The 2026 Festspiel summer will open in Neubrandenburg on Saturday, June 13 at 4:00 PM — with the Armida Quartett, one of Germany's most sought-after young string quartets. The Venue
The Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg is the former Marienkirche (14th century), which was converted into a modern concert hall in 2001 based on Finnish designs by Pekka Salminen. A new concert organ was completed in 2017. Address: An der Marienkirche 1, 17033 Neubrandenburg.

The Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will open their 2026 season in Neubrandenburg. The opening concert with the Armida Quartett on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM, marks the beginning of a summer with around 130 concerts throughout the state — Neubrandenburg is one of the central venues.
