Encounter of Cultures in Klenzepark

The Festival of Cultures is Ingolstadt's major intercultural summer festival. Organized by the city's cultural office, it transforms Klenzepark into a place of lively cultural exchange over two days. Over 30 local cultural associations present their work and warmly showcase their origins — a total of around 25 countries are represented.

Stage, Stalls, and World Cuisine

The varied music and dance programme is curated by the participating associations: young and old present traditional folklore, dance, and music in beautiful traditional costumes. At around 30 stalls, the cultural associations welcome their guests and offer food, refined with familiar and exotic spices — a culinary journey around the world.

Children's and Youth Programme

At the Rondell Reduit Tilly and at the Migration Council's stand, children and young people can expect a diverse, free hands-on programme: the world of Spanish flamenco, a mobile recording studio for rap songs, circus experiences, and street art activities. This makes the festival an experience for the youngest visitors too.

A Festival of Diversity

The focus is on networking, overcoming borders, and lively cultural exchange. The Festival of Cultures is one of the largest intercultural festivals in the region and a firm fixture in Ingolstadt's summer event calendar — with free admission for everyone.
