Grand club festival with party night, vintage car show, and morning pint in Oberschwaben
On June 13 and 14, 2026, seven clubs from the Oberschwaben municipality of Schwendi are organizing their joint club festival. The concept is unique: instead of each club holding its own festival, the clubs are joining forces to host a two-day festival weekend together. This pools resources, avoids overlapping events, and allows the festival to reach a scale far beyond a single club event.
The event kicks off on Saturday evening with the Party Night. DJ Manne and DJ Lok will be spinning tunes at the Lazarus-von-Schwendi event hall — from hits of the 90s and 2000s, current charts, to Schlager and party hits. Admission is 16+, with a fee (advance booking recommended). The event regularly attracts young adults from the entire Biberach district and neighboring Ulm — one of the largest club parties in the region.
Sunday is family-oriented and free:
Schwendi is a prime example of Oberschwaben's vibrant club culture. Seven clubs — the fire brigade, music club, sports club, shooting club, heritage society, rural women's association, and youth club — form the backbone of social life in this municipality of just under 6,200 inhabitants. The joint festival strengthens connections, promotes cooperation, and makes club activities visible to the public.
Schwendi, with just under 6,200 inhabitants, is located in the northern Biberach district, in the picturesque Rottum Valley — roughly halfway between Ulm and Biberach an der Riß. The municipality is named after the famous field commander Lazarus von Schwendi (1522–1583), who is said to have introduced tobacco from Hungary to Central Europe. Today, the Lazarus-von-Schwendi event hall is the central hub of club culture and a meeting point for all generations.
The joint festival of the seven Schwendi clubs combines a party night and a family-friendly morning pint over one weekend. Saturday focuses on the dance evening with DJ music, while Sunday features the traditional morning pint with club performances and the popular vintage car exhibition.
Saturday (Party Night): fee applies (advance booking recommended). Sunday: Free admission.
By car: A7 exit Vöhringen or A8 exit Ulm-Ost, then B30 towards Biberach, exit Schwendi. By train: nearest station is Laupheim Stadt, then take a bus.
Saturday (Party Night): Admission 16+, fee applies. Sunday (Morning Pint, Vintage Cars, Club Program): Free admission.
Come early on Sunday for the morning pint — the atmosphere at the hall with the displayed vintage cars, music, and Swabian cuisine is authentically Oberschwaben.
