Rock and music festival with tribute bands at Jahnplatz — May 22 to 25, 2026 (2nd edition)
Falken-Rock is the new rock festival of the Saxon Vogtland region and will take place for the second time in 2026 — from May 22 to 25, 2026 (Pentecost weekend) at the central Jahnplatz in Falkenstein/Vogtl. (Vogtland district, Saxony). Two stages — the main stage and a side tent — will host events on the festival grounds for four days. The organizer is Berufsdetektei Meyer GmbH, managed by Nancy Rauh, in cooperation with Falken-Rock e.V. The festival sees itself as a regional generational event with a clear focus on rock, tribute bands, and a family program.
The 2026 lineup consistently features top-class tribute acts: RMC (Rammstein Tribute) on Friday evening, STILL COUNTING (Volbeat Tribute) on Saturday evening, MEMORIA (Nirvana Tribute) on Sunday, and AC/CZ (AC/DC Tribute) on Sunday evening. The program is complemented by original bands from the region (Nobody, Desurrection, Last Rising, among others), DJ sets in the side tent, and brass music by the Oelsnitz Brass Band in the morning on Friday.
A special feature of Falken-Rock is the extensive children's and family program during the day: Pony rides, archery, face painting, carousel rides, and sandpit activities take place from Saturday to Monday. A creative market featuring handicrafts, jewelry, and regional products runs continuously in the sports hall building. Admission is free during the day from 10 AM to 5 PM — evening tickets are required later. The concept deliberately aims to appeal to both rock fans and families simultaneously.
Falkenstein/Vogtl. is a small town in the Vogtland district in Saxony, on the eastern edge of the Vogtland region and not far from the borders of Bavaria and the Czech Republic. With around 8,000 inhabitants, Falkenstein is one of the smaller Vogtland towns, but the region maintains a strong rock tradition — also due to its proximity to Oelsnitz and Plauen, which hosts its own major events with the "Vogtlandhalle" and the "Plauener Spitzenfest." Falken-Rock 2025 (first edition) already attracted many visitors from the entire Vogtland and the neighboring Ore Mountains — the 2nd edition in 2026 continues this tradition.
The second edition of the Falken-Rock festival runs from Friday, May 22, 2026, to Monday, May 25, 2026 (Whit Monday) at Jahnplatz in Falkenstein/Vogtl. Two stages — the main stage and a side tent — will host the open-air arena for four days. Admission is free during the day from 10 AM to 5 PM (children's and family program); evening day tickets are valid for the main concerts.
The organizer is Berufsdetektei Meyer GmbH, managed by Nancy Rauh, in cooperation with Falken-Rock e.V. — a locally anchored festival with regional appeal.
