An Entire City as a Concert Stage on the Lower Rhine

The concept of Emmerich live! is simple and brilliant: on a single evening, around 12 venues in the city center of Emmerich am Rhein will be simultaneously active. One wristband, free access to all concerts — you switch between locations, hear a different genre everywhere, meet different people. Over 20 live acts will provide the musical program. The next edition starts on March 14, 2026, from 7:00 PM.

The Twelve Locations

Participating restaurants and venues: Zum Raben, La Taverna, the club house of Eintracht Emmerich, the restaurant ship Germania, the Restaurant Rheinblick, the Aldegundiskirche (for classical sets), Hof von Holland, PAN Kunstform Niederrhein, Jay's 852, the ship "Stadt Rees", and OJ20. A variety of locations covering the entire spectrum of Emmerich's gastronomy and culture — from Rhine ships to churches.

Comedy on the "Stadt Rees"

The comedy program will take place on the Rhine ship "Stadt Rees": Hannes Höfer (NRW cabaret star), Vera Deckers (comedy writer and stage professional), and Hilla Heien (Lower Rhine comedian).

The Ticket System

Wristband Instead of Individual Tickets

With your ticket, you get a wristband that grants you access to all participating venues for the evening. You can switch freely; no entry ticket per venue.

Emmerich as a Festival City on the Lower Rhine

Emmerich am Rhein in the Kleve district (NRW) is located directly on the Dutch border and is the last German city on the Rhine before it crosses into Holland. With about 30,000 inhabitants, Emmerich is manageable but culturally active: a port city on the Rhine, tourism, border culture. Emmerich live! is the annual city event that involves the entire city center — a mix of a city festival and a concert crawl. Organized by the Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Stadtmarketing Gesellschaft Emmerich am Rhein (WFG) in cooperation with MUKIE EVENTS.
