Since 2009, the Electrisize Festival has been the largest electronic music festival in the Rhineland. From August 7 to 9, 2026, the grounds in Erkelenz-Hetzerath will transform into a three-day open-air stage with approx. 50,000 visitors, 5 stages, and over 150 acts: Mainstage (Showtek, Paul Elstak, Glockenbach), Hardsize (Brennan Heart, Ran-D, Sound Rush), Turbo (Calvin Kleinen, Da Hool), Tapuya (House/Deep), and Campsite Stage. Getting there

By car: A46 or A52 towards Erkelenz, then follow signs for Hetzerath/Festival. By train: RE/RB to Erkelenz, shuttle bus to the festival grounds. From the Netherlands: A2 towards Aachen, then A46.

Tickets

3-day festival ticket, VIP pass, and camping options available via shop.electrisize.de. Prices start from approx. €130 (Festival) plus optional camping/VIP, depending on the phase. Day tickets available in limited quantities.

Tip

Set up your camping spot early — the best places go quickly. Cashless payment on site — top up your wristband account in advance. Sunscreen and water are important even during the day.

Electrisize — the Rhineland mega-festival for electronic music

Since its inception in 2009, Electrisize Festival has been the largest open-air festival for electronic music in North Rhine-Westphalia and Western Germany. The 2026 edition will take place from August 7 to 9, 2026, on the established festival grounds in Erkelenz-Hetzerath (Heinsberg district). With around 50,000 visitors over three days, 5 stages, over 150 acts, and sophisticated camping infrastructure, Electrisize is a fixture of the German festival season.

Five stages — all varieties of electronic music

Each stage has its own sound focus:

Mainstage: Headliners like Showtek, Paul Elstak, Glockenbach — Big-Room, EDM, Mainstream Dance
Hardsize: Hardcore and Hard Dance — Brennan Heart, Ran-D, Sound Rush, among others
Turbo: High-Energy and Eclectic — Calvin Kleinen, Da Hool, among others
Tapuya: House, Deep House, and melodic Electronica
Campsite Stage: Intimate sets by NYF, Phake, and newcomer acts directly on the campsite

Electrisize is a classic camping festival with sophisticated infrastructure:

Erkelenz-Hetzerath — the festival location

The festival grounds are located in Hetzerath, a district of Erkelenz (approx. 45,000 inhabitants) in the Heinsberg district. Its location in western NRW, near the Dutch border, attracts an international audience — in addition to German festival-goers, many visitors from the Netherlands and Belgium attend. Accessibility via the A46/A52 is good; a shuttle service complements public transport from Erkelenz train station.
